HISTORY
The Norfolk Hub (previously The Norfolk Foundation) was founded in the Fall of 2015 with a view to focusing and consolidating a number of separate but often overlapping conversations that emerged in the wake of the 2009 Plan of Conversation and Development.
These conversations included the town’s Economic Development Commission and City Meadow Committee, the Community Association and the Coalition for Sound Growth, among others.
All participants shared concern for finding ways to intentionally develop a vital and sustainable town that would promote Norfolk’s strong sense of place, history, and community.
The Norfolk Hub is a 501©3 private operating foundation that works to advance the vitality and sustainability of the town of Norfolk, Connecticut by strengthening cultural, natural and town resources in ways that engage and support residents and visitors alike.
