THE HUB

The Hub serves as co-working space for individuals seeking professionally supported office space, for non-profit members and as a gathering space for the community.

Our location in downtown Norfolk serves as a natural first-stop for visitors who want to learn about the town, view maps and find information about local attractions.

Our main space, free and open to the public, can be used as an individual workspace and to host small gatherings and art exhibits. Membership is not required for use of the Open Main Space.

Two private offices (Office 1; Office 2; see fees below) provide a quiet, professional space for those who work at home. There is access to fiber-based WiFi and a printer/scanner.

The conference room is for occasional scheduled or impromptu meetings.

Workshops, receptions and seminars offered though the Norfolk Hub Talks series provide a platform for community engagement and collaboration.

• Operate their organizations with access to professional services

• Coordinate and collaborate with one another

• Participate in Norfolk Foundation-sponsored programming to broaden capacity and resources

For information on membership fees, including for Norfolk NGOs, Groups, and Committees, see membership options in the link below. Or contact the office at office@norfolkhub.org or (860) 542-7185 ext. 250 to schedule a time to talk about Hub Member benefits at each level.

THE SPACE

In the spring of 2016, the Norfolk Foundation acquired the old Corner Store to serve as the future site for our office and as a shared non-profit workspace to be called the Norfolk Hub”

The motivation behind establishing the Hub was to bring a greater shared awareness of Norfolk’s many volunteer organizations.  In addition to serving as the office for the Norfolk Foundation, The Hub provides work and meeting spaces and professional support to its member organizations. It will also include space for exhibiting art or of projects proposed or being carried out by its members and will serve as a natural first stop for visitors to Norfolk in search of maps and advice.
